Adjacent to the Westfield Horton Plaza shopping center, 97 Horton is the most centrally located event space in San Diego. In the heart of downtown and just outside of the historic Gaslamp Quarter, the venue is steps away from the Convention Center, the San Diego Concourse, Symphony Hall, Seaport Village and every major hotel in downtown.

 

Built with the shopping center two decades ago, 97 Horton has housed its fair share of retail businesses, but more popularly remembered for Planet Hollywood. The structure is adjacent to Horton Plaza Park, a beautiful open air courtyard space with downtown's trademark fountain front, looking directly at Broadway. This historic park offers an authentic and beautifully wrought dome, part of the historic fountain designed by Irving Gill. In the corner of the park, you can see Broadway Circle that acts as a main corridor into the classic shopping center and neighbors the Spreckels Theater.
